Hi everyone! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend and ready to grind out the rest of the week. I can’t wait to share with you all about my collaboration with Hackamore Energy! If you don’t know anything about me, I will tell you that I haven’t had an energy drink in YEARS!!! Yup, I said it, YEARS! I am allergic to the aspartame/acesulfame that they put in them. If you don’t know what either of those ingredients are, its a substitute sugar. BLAH! I really wish they didn’t put fake sugar in everything. I haven’t had a piece of gum in years either!!!
ANY WHO, I was so excited to be working with Hackamore Energy because all of their products are Vegan, Gluten Free, NO SUGAR, Zero Calories and only contains natural caffeine along with amino acids and b-vitamins. My beautiful friend Anna from PepperedinStyle and I also collaborated with Soul Gastro Lounge in Charlotte, NC and had the opportunity to work with their amazing photographer, Justin Smith. We had our friend Kel Minton, the Beverage Director at Soul Gastro Lounge, teach us how to make a few easy cocktails using Hackamore Energy! Yes, they taste as yummy as they look! Don’t worry, I will post the recipes below. 😊
Anna and I wanted to help our readers out in finding a fun and easy way to entertain your guests. I mean, who doesn’t enjoy making a good cocktail?
The flavor is very refreshing and has a pure hint of lime to it. You can drink the Hackamore Energy shots alone or add it to your favorite drink. Let me remind you that you only need ONE SHOT. The energy shots are NON ALCOHOLIC so you can add them to your favorite fruit juice, soda, pre-workout, over ice and then of course your favorite alcoholic beverage.
The beverage is presented in a one liter bottle and is served as a shot which consists of the equivalent amount of caffeine in your typical canned energy drink. I think it is very unique the way they package their product. They even make mini bottles of the Hackamore Energy shots! How fun!
